My Little Headstrong!

When Ben gets it in his head that he's going to do something.. he will do it. That is the only time that it will happen too. Not before. Here he decided that he was tired so he set up a whole bed on the couch, tucked himself in and read a book to himself. I thought this was picture worthy.
To go along with this, this little boy is the most headstrong boy that I have met in my whole life. He will only do what he wants, when he wants, and not a bit more. (Hence why he is still not potty trained at age 3.. just waiting for him to jump in and realize that it is a good thing.) He has been taking Itty Bitty Soccer this week and I don't think that he's touched the ball once. He has decided that he doesn't want to do it and there fore will not do it. It has been the most exasperating thing to try and get him to play for the hour (Dad is going to try at the next class-I think that he likes to show him how tough he is). At moments I have seen him channeling being headstrong in a variety of good ways. Those moments I am so proud of him. As he grows I hope that this continues more and more. I can see this really being an asset in his life in the long run. He has such a good, sweet heart that will take him far. I love this guy.
