My Mom's friend came to visit from Chicago. They were college roommates. It brought out the kid in my Mom. We got to hang out a bit.. one time being at the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point. It was a Monday night so they had the Family night activities going on. This theme was a carnival. We got cotton candy, through a ball to knock down cans, raced in cardboard cars, played a plinko game, the sucker game (where Erik and I won a train whistle.. I gave mine to Ben), and we had balloons made for us... My mom insisted on the hat! It was fun, although I think that my mom had more fun then any of us. She was giggling like a kid again. It was good for me to see her have that much fun.

The Kid in my Mom
My Mom's friend came to visit from Chicago. They were college roommates. It brought out the kid in my Mom. We got to hang out a bit.. one time being at the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point.
