Labor Day Camping!

We went camping Labor Day weekend and had a blast. We went up to Tony's family cabin in Cedar City. I had a blast taking pictures this time and here are just a few of them. This is the cabin that his Grandpa built,
Although we never stay inside of it... we stay in tents over here in the trees..
Yes, there is a cabin, but we rough it.. although if you want you can use the out house... hmm... I choose not too...

Tony's sister April and her family went with us and we took his little brother and sister with us too... okay they are younger then him, but not so little any more.Bekah slept horrible the first night so she fell asleep early for her nap.. I thought she looked so cute...

While she was sleeping I took all the other kids down to the creek and had some fun with them.I thought this was a nice shot of the steps going down to the stream.
Later we got to hike up to fossil hill. Yes, just what it is called.. we got to search for fossils on the hill... it was pretty fun, Ben was asleep during this outing and Tony was making dinner... (Tony makes all the meals while we camp and does all the cleaning... that part is really nice.) Here is Erik on the hill, he loved the search and he found some good ones.

Bekah liked throwing rocks into the stream... she was getting pretty good at making it in.

My niece had this butterfly land right on her, and she was able to carry it around for a bit. It was a black pretty one. This is my family peeking out of the tent... Bekah didn't want to join in the picture..

Our last night, we got out the glow sticks, made smores, and sang around the camp fire. It was a lot of fun...

Here are the kids eating Lucky Charms for breakfast. Although the weather was perfect before and after we left, while we were there it was really cold. We had a great time and although camping is a lot of prep before and after wards, it is fun and the kids love it!
