On the ninth day of Christmas I got all of this...

On the ninth day of Christmas I got all of this...
12 stinky diapers,
11 sticky spots on the floor,
10 prayers for help,
9 kicking tantums,
8 meals in a day,
7 crying children,
6 crafts to hang on the frig,
5 more loads of laundry to do,
4 more spills and messes,
3 minutes to breathe,
2 crystal candlesticks broken
2 broken dishes
1 broken table
and
1 broken changing table

Okay, I am trying to make fun of my day, but it is only 1:30pm and all of these things have seriously happened already today. I am trying to get a breather while I vent for a minute. I love kids, but is it really necessary for them to destroy everything in there path?!? I am starting to wonder if I have lost all control today. Please tell me that I am not the only one out there that feels this way!

Okay, I am going back to it now... thanks for listening to me rant and rave.

Here is my solution for now... I took them all down stairs into our just carpeted basement and let them run around the center 10 times or more to get all that built up energy out. Then I put two of the girls down for there late nap (of course not planned that way...).

Of course it didn't totally work.. Kambree peed her pants again sometime while she was running, and they still have been fighting a bit. Hopefully they had fun and will brake less stuff though.

I'm glad you went downstairs and got rid of some energy. And just remember you do have one reason to rejoice: I'm making dinner. haha.

I have days like that, just not that many kids!!! AHH being a mom is crazy - and being a babysitter is even crazier:)

Sorry you had to have that kind of day! I hate those. But I have to say, your basement is looking awesome! It's amazing what some walls and carpet will do. Looks fabulous!

I seriously have been waiting for this post. You are my ideal mom. Whenever I'm loosing it I think about you and how I've never seen you loose it and think that you probably don't even get close to loosing it and then feel even worse because you're such a better mom than me.

EVERYONE goes a little crazy sometimes. I was honestly ready to drop Zina off at the hospital last Wednesday because they don't ask questions.

I'm glad that you're normal.

You are a brave woman to have that many kids at your house.

Cute song though. You should be a writer. :)
